We designed and manufactured the tooling for this copper busbar, which was used in an automotive battery assembly. We also provided the progressive die stamping, and finished the part with nickel and hard-gold electro-plating. Each part weighed .300 lbs. and met tolerances of ±.10 mm and ±1 mm. Utilizing our vision system for testing and inspection, we were able to ensure that the busbar met all of the automaker's specifications.
